Frankfurter Bookfair

Filed under: My novel news — dekeersmaeker @ 4:03 pm

Hey folks me on the run to the Frankfurter Book Fair, to the way of the launching of my first Novel.

To be honest it’s exciting.

And you know what this photo is taken by a Russian lady I met in the station. We talked a lot about the book.

It’s interesting how such a little book as mine with the tilte ‘The Earth has Fever’ or ‘Die Erde hat Fieber,’  makes people talk about there interest in deling with the climate change. Also on the train there were some interesting discussions going on. And that’s good I think.

3.50 hours later am in the Book Fair. And there my book is, healthy and well. Waiting for the audience and other publishers who are interested to look at it. What a surprise?

All the five books were opened, not in the plastic anymore. People already like to read inside, the publisher BOD told me.

Ok tomorrow I see myself. Because it’s almost closing time now.

Tomorrow you can expect other bookfair new, because In Frankfurt the International world is gathered.

My first novel is arrived

Filed under: My novel news — dekeersmaeker @ 12:33 pm

It are exciting times for me.

Within 3 days my FIRST NOVEL ‘The Earth has Fever,’ Die Erde hat Fieber’ is launched in Frankfurt on the International Book Fair.

After four years of research everywhere around in Europe, the history I had in my mind is now available as a Book on Demand.

To hold your first born book into your hands is a very thrilling moment, more a holy moment. Suddenly you see your words, your thoughts, your phantasie in black and white in a paperback format. Very convenient.

And then you realise that your world has changed. The things you have written down in private are suddenly common good. But to be honest it feels good.

Now the book can life his own life. Readers will like it or not.

Hopefully you enjoy the story like I did while writing it.

Synopsis

The ‘Sky Disc of Nebra’, a bronze disc 30 cm in diameter depicting the oldest known image of the cosmos, is a clue running through the story of Arthur Tempo and Alice Buton who along with fifty climate refugees have mysteriously disappeared from the face of the Earth.

For climatologist, philosopher and lobbyist, Hilari Sands and his team of scientists, this mystery turns into a puzzle. During their research which takes them all across Europe they are confronted with one shocking revelation after the other. A mysterious group and a fifteenth-century bishop are the basis of a unique spectacle with a surprising denouement.
